Benito Tosello was born in Cavarzere in 1939 and trained in carpentry and joinery from a very early age. It was through his employment at Fiat that he was granted the opportunity to move to Cento, a city known as a center for lutherie. He met members of the prolific Carletti family and worked with making and repairing instruments together. Benito Tosello and Gabriele Carletti son of Natale #natalecarletti, were the first teachers of the Scuola di Artigianato Artistico by Pieve di Cento in 1982. He leaves a lasting legacy in the many students that he instructed as well as in the many high-quality instruments that he produced.
